Charter School Growth Fund (CSGF)

Aims to increase the capacity of proven educational entrepreneurs to develop and grow networks of high quality charter schools.
With a pool of $100 million, the CSGF expects to create 100,000 new, permanent seats for underserved families in high quality charter schools by the year 2015.

Independent grant-making agency of the United States government dedicated to supporting research, education, preservation, and public programs in the humanities

PG&E Charitable Contributions Program

Provides 501(c) (3) nonprofit organizations and selected government programs with cash grants, in-kind contributions, or both
Focuses its grantmaking program in the area of Aid to Schools on public schools serving pre-school and K-12 students, universities, teacher training, after-school programs, and kids safety training

The Clorox Company Foundation

Supports education and youth development programs that strive to:
Improve the academic performance of children, especially through strategies that foster reform within public schools
Prepare youth for the world of work and for community leadership
Promote positive relationships among youth from diverse cultural and ethnic groups. Areas of funding include mentoring, academic development and career development.

The Walter S. Johnson Foundation

The Foundation’s Education Grant seeks to prepare young people, ages 14 - 24, who are not on track to graduate, or who are first generation college-goers, to complete high school and obtain post-secondary credentials.
Grants are available for projects to develop and disseminate instructional practices and student support services that help out-of-school youth complete high school and/or postsecondary education or training.

Weingart Foundation

Considers grants to assist credible agencies and institutions serving children and youth.
