The Association is happy to connect those in the charter community with the finance community. We’ve learned that both can benefit tremendously. For example:

Through our Growth Loan Program, lenders have provided over $27 million in working capital loans to 50 charter schools
All payments have been on time and in full
Lenders take pride in knowing their funds have opened up 8,000 new charter seats

Volunteer a few hours of your time. Find a charter school near you and give them a ring. They’ll be thrilled to hear from you.

Help a teacher realize a dream. Click here to check out www.donorschoose.com, a website where teachers can submit project proposals for materials or experiences for their students. You can search proposals and fund your favorite one…or two.

Put your goods to good use. Look at www.lashares.org. This non-profit program takes donations from the local business community and redistributes them to non-profits and schools throughout Los Angeles county.
